Spring Newsletter

We just finished up our first public school program at Welcome Elementary School! We had 4 coaches and 15 children. Throughout this 8-week season, each child learned basic truths of the Gospel, soccer skills, and team play. The coaches saw a lot of growth in the lives of the children both on and off the field. We hope to continue this relationship with Welcome Elementary School and provide more programs at their school in the future. Please look through the following pictures!

We had our first fundraising banquet on April 27! As we look back on that day, we are thankful for the people who attended and the people who helped make it a success. It was night of food, fellowship, and a silent auction. Pastor Will spoke about the community and helped our attendees understand the need. Be on the lookout for our banquet next year! We are excited to continue this as a yearly event where we can cultivate new and old relationships.

Guess What? At the beginning of August we will be announcing our new name for our monthly giving program. We want to continue to create a community of recurring givers who believe in our mission and want to see us grow. We are thankful for those who are already a part of our monthly giving team! We could not do it without you.

We are excited for our 4 weeks of camp this summer! If you are interested in getting involved in any way, please email info@histurnsoccer.org! We would love for you to bring a meal, volunteer, or provide a craft for our kids!
